Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 25/07/25.

At Cogan’s Canine Care, I want everyone who visits my website to feel welcome, supported, and able to access the information they need with ease.

I’m committed to making my website as accessible and inclusive as possible for all visitors, including people with visual, hearing, cognitive, or motor impairments.

What I’m Doing to Support Accessibility

I aim to follow best practices in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, striving to meet Level AA standards. This means:

✅ Using clear, readable fonts and colour contrast
✅ Ensuring navigation is simple and consistent
✅ Adding alt text to images and graphics
✅ Making sure the website works well with screen readers
✅ Avoiding flashing content or anything that could cause harm or discomfort
✅ Designing pages to be usable with a keyboard or assistive devices

I regularly review and update my site to improve accessibility wherever I can.

Ongoing Commitment

Accessibility isn’t a one-time task, it’s an ongoing commitment. As my business grows, I’ll continue learning, improving, and doing my best to create an inclusive online space for all dog lovers.
